Hippd Hidden Defects Training
We have developed a limited inspection that can be added to an EPC, or stand alone, allowing our inspectors to offer Insurance backed Hidden Defects Warranties (HDW). The data is collected on a Pocket PC running windows mobile.
Inspectors trained and able to offer the policy can significantly increase their earning potential from each inspection they already carry out by providing the HDW
Building Surveyors/ Home Inspectors
For those already trained as Building Surveyors or Home Inspectors this is simply a 1 day CPD course.
The course explains the concepts of the inspection, what data the insurer is looking for and how the software system works. The course includes the cost of the software licence to run the inspection on a PDA.

Domestic Energy Assessors
To provide the inspection a good knowledge of construction and defects is required. This will require Energy assessors to undertake a greater level of training. We have developed a training solution that gives Domestic Energy Assessors the required knowledge to complete the inspection.
The course is 3 days classroom based learning with a distance learning pack and short test.
The course provides direct credit towards our Home Inspector Course. After completing the Hidden Defects training if you go onto the complete the Home Inspector Course with us we will provide a discount on the Home Inspector training of one and a half times the cost of the Hidden Defects training. You are therefore getting a taste for what is involved in the Dip HI, and can save money too.
